Scheduling and Information Services, Inc. is a Northwest based project planning and project controls firm providing CPM scheduling services, schedule analysis, scheduling training, project controls, project management training, and project information services for industrial and commercial construction projects throughout the United States and internationally.
SIS was founded in March 2004 by Carol Bolstad who remains owner, president, and senior planner today. Headquartered in Stevenson, Washington, SIS is certified as a DBE/WBE company in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Texas and Georgia as well as certified nationally by WBENC. Over the past ten years SIS has grown to include projects in 4 countries, 13 US states, and has about 24 employees in 4 states. SIS has assisted over 75 different companies on more than 130 projects during that time including leading the scheduling and planning for the Third Set of Locks for the Panama Canal.
SIS employees have a diverse background in industrial and commercial projects and have filled roles from project managers, to planners, schedulers, project engineers, cost engineers, and records managers. Both our Project Controls Manager and Training Manager have over 15 years experience in those positions and twenty-five years’ experience in scheduling.
SIS works directly with Owners, Contractors, Subcontractors, Engineers, and Architects to develop realistic, manageable project schedules that provide an opportunity for all parties to succeed. Our focus on communication, planning, identification of common goals, and project measurement criteria establishes a framework that is consistent yet flexible for all parties.
SIS has delivered schedules ranging from the simple to the very complex yet they all retain a the same basic structure and focus on conveying the execution plan, covering the scope of work, readability and contain the ability to drill down and isolate specific sequences of work to support on time execution.
